Welcome back to another day of Blogmas!
Every December, the kids & i, make “gingerbread” houses. I say “gingerbread” because we actually use graham crackers instead. It’s a fun little tradition i started with them several years ago. Today i thought i would share how we make them.
- Graham Crackers
- Vanilla Frosting
- An assortment of candies/sprinkles
How to assemble the houses:
- Take 2 graham crackers and break them in half. That will give you your 4 walls. Use the vanilla frosting to act as glue to stick your walls together. Then take another graham cracker and break it in half, that will be your roof. Use the frosting again to attach your roof to the house.
Now it’s time to decorate. Spread frosting where needed to add the different decorations.
Now it’s time for the best part, eating them!! 🙂
I love making these houses way more then a traditional gingerbread house. They are easy to make, everyone gets their own, and so nobody feels left out. Do you make these “gingerbread” houses too? Let me know which you prefer, traditional or graham cracker?
