Today i’m back with another Fitness Friday. Sorry there was no Fitness Friday last week, we went camping.
Which is why today i’m talking about healthy snacks to take camping, that way you don’t find yourself reaching for the bad stuff and blowing all your weight loss/health goals.
Here are some of the healthy snacks i took camping…
Fruit – I packed bananas and apples, just because they are the 2 easiest fruit for transporting and they don’t need refrigeration.
Rice Cakes – I love the white cheddar flavor, and at only 45 calories per cake it’s a great snack for weight loss.
One Protein Bar – I did a review recently on these bars, if you want to know more about them, you can read that post HERE. I love the maple glazed doughnut flavor and these are great to take camping.
Trail Mix – At 140 calories for only 1/4 cup, this isn’t the greatest weight loss snack in my opinion. Plus it has a lot of sugar. But for me it’s not camping without trail mix. My whole family loves to eat trail mix when camping. Which is why i didn’t get a picture of it, my whole family ate it all up before i could. Anyways this is the one we like, the Walmart brand Indulgent flavor.
