March Favorites

Hi Guys!

I have some great favorites from March that i can’t wait to share with you all today.march favs

Kisses From Katie was by far my favorite book i read in March, heck it’s now one of my favorite books of all time. It was so life changing good! Seriously, if you haven’t read it yet, read it!

And because we have been looking for a house, i have to share my favorite app that helped in the house hunting journey. The Realtor App is amazing. You can enter in all your search criteria (4 beds, 2 baths, 2000 square feet, location, etc.) and it will give you a list of all the houses that meet that criteria. And one of the major reasons i loved it so much, was i felt like it updated (and gave more information, i.e. contingent houses, etc.) quicker than Zillow does.

Remember how i gave up coffee for February? Well, sadly i started drinking coffee again in March. However, i’m drinking it without my old usual half-n-half. I started using coconut milk creamer and although its totally different from half-n-half, so don’t go pick some up thinking “ah this will be just like drinking coffee with half-n-half”, it’s not too bad.

The Greatest Showman…. Best movie ever! Greatest soundtrack ever! Need i say more?! I’ve have been totally obsessed with the movie since it came out on Amazon Prime March 20th.  I went a bought the soundtrack like a week later. Love, love, love it!

I bought the Quieting Your Heart: 6-Month Prayer Journal almost a year ago, and i’m just now getting into using it. I’ve been enjoying it a lot lately, it’s been a great place to write down what’s been in my heart. I’m totally a pen and paper kinda gal, so this works great for me.

That’s it! Those are my favorites for March! Hope you enjoyed hearing all about them. Leave me a comment, and let me know what your favorite things are right now!

March Reading List

Hi Guys!!

Here is our March reading list…

Samuel (7th Grade/12 years old)

Flying Solo – He is almost done with this book ,and i’m sure he will be finished with it by today, but i’m not sure what his next book is going to be yet.

Dasean (4th Grade/10 years old)

The Sugar Creek Gang book 2 The Killer Bear – He is enjoying this series, just like Samuel did.

Karina (1st Grade/6 years old)

The Runt Pig – She is able to read these stories on her own.

Veronica (Me!)

Kisses From Katie – Samuel read this a few months ago and he really enjoyed it, so i thought i would give it a try.

Adventures for your soul – I’m trying to read more positive and encouraging books, and this one had good reviews, so i’m gonna give it a try.

Girl, Wash Your Face – I’ve also heard great things about this new book from Rachel Hollis. Can’t wait to read it!

Wild and Free – Here’s a little excerpt from this book… ” We do not have to be confined or conformed by cultural expectations. We are unchained from our past and unafraid of our future. We choose compassion over comparison. We love without condition, without reserve.”

That’s it! That’s what we are reading in March. What are you reading this month?
